As a member of NCAAOM you will be in on the ongoing discussions affecting the future and vitality of acupuncture in North Carolina. Your voice will count in setting the directions of our profession with regard to such important issues as continuing education, insurance, scope of practice, and the direction of health care in our state and nation. It is largely through the efforts of the NCAAOM that North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Bill was designed and passed in the legislature.
Who Can Join?
The NCAAOM has several categories of membership:- Professional ($150): 21 years of age, residents of North Carolina and licensed to practice acupuncture in North Carolina.
- First Year Professional ($75): Newly licensed acupuncturist of North Carolina. Available for one year from the date of licensure.
- Student ($50): Individual undergoing training to become professional acupuncturist. All privileges except voting.
- Associate ($150): Any health care professional wishing to offer support to the Association. All privileges except voting.
